More than 30 people participated in a cash mob last Saturday in Jefferson, with many dressing the part of “wearin’ of the green” while they were “spendin’ of the green.”
Led by a leprechaun, Don’s Ace Hardware was the destination for the mobbers to spend at least $20. The group then proceeded to Peony Chinese Restaurant for lunch.
Drawings were held with Kathy Steussy winning $25 in Chamber Bucks and Amy McGinn winning a gift certificate to Sierra Community Theatre donated by Lisa Jaskey.
The promotion committee of Jefferson Matters: Main Street plans another cash mob event next month.
